In attendance were President Christopher, Gary Dales, Frank Yoke, Maureen O’Shea, Emily Borland, Lisa Christian, Mary Liu, Sunny Singh, Margaret Miley, Brian Lan, and Stacey Poole, constituting a quorum. Absent were Wendy Shew, Scott Plakun, and Jeff Lerner. The invited guests were Ozan Yasavur, JT Forbus, Bob Hermann, and Dan Davies.
Eight Rotarians from the Rotary Club of San Francisco gathered to pack 50 Homeless Prenatal Program (HPP) baby shower bags at Hoogasian Flowers on the evening of Thursday, June 1, 2023. The Rotarians (pictured from left to right) were Carrie Schucker, Bill Gregory, Margaret Miley, Andrés Vera, Luis Moran, Christopher Davies, and Donna Duensing.
San Francisco Mayor London Breed joins us to talk about San Francisco's many issues and take your questions. We do expect a large audience and encourage you to register early.
Join us at one or both of the Baby Showers at the Homeless Prenatal Program where we will give expectant mothers diaper bags filled with supplies. The party for Spanish speakers starts at 10 AM; the party for English speakers starts at 1 PM. Registration is limited to two Rotarians at each shower.
Join us for a special “partea” to celebrate the accomplishments and tenure of President Christopher who led us through the 2022–2023 Rotary year. Tea, sandwiches, sweets, and champagne will be served. All members and their guests are welcome. There is no charge for this event. The Monday Night Supper Club at The Arc now meets in person. Enjoy the opportunity to help with meal set-up and then, sit, eat, and get to know The Arc's participants. This event is limited to 8 volunteers maximum.
