DESCRIPTION:Vern Glenn will discuss sports in the Bay Area. He joined KPIX 
 5/KBCWTV 44 Cable 12 in June 2012 as weekend Sports Anchor/weekday sports 
 reporter and multimedia journalist. A four-time Emmy® Award winner for Be
 st Sportscaster\, Vern had previously been at KRON 4 News since 1990. At K
 RON\, Vern was tagged with the nickname “Mr. Involvement” for literall
 y throwing himself in the middle of his feature stories. His memorable sto
 ries include bungee jumping\, skydiving\, bull riding\, boxing\, pro footb
 all\, and a dirt bike crash. Among his personal assignments was reporting 
 from the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney\, Australia. Vern was part of
  the KNBR Radio Morning show in 1998 and drops in now and then as a guest 
 on 95.7 FM The Game. He is an Eagle Scout and a graduate of the University
  of Virginia. This is a regular membership meeting of the Rotary Club of S
 an Francisco\, open to all Rotarians\, visiting Rotarians\, prospective me
 mbers\, and guests. Meeting Schedule:   12:00 Noon  Registration & Networ

 ides the headcount to the Hotel Nikko on the Friday before our Tuesday mee
 ting\, we will be billed for that count regardless of whether you show or 
 not.  Parking: If you are driving to the Hotel Nikko for this meeting\, p
 lease leave your car with the Hotel Nikko valet. Pick up a validation stic
 ker available at our check-in table. The discounted parking is $17.50 for
