DESCRIPTION:Aditi Desai will talk about the California Institute for Regene
 rative Medicine (CIRM) and its mission to accelerate science and deliver t
 ransformative regenerative medicine treatments equitably to California and
  the world.  Aditi Desai is the Community Outreach Manager for CIRM. She 
 grew up in Orlando\, Florida\; went to college at Mercer University in Mac
 on\, Georgia\; and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and 
 Biochemistry. She then attended University of South Florida in Tampa\, Flo
 rida and received a Master of Public Health degree. While there\, she volu
 nteered with the U.S. Peace Corps in Uganda\, working in health education\
 , promotion\, and outreach. Improving access to healthcare for marginalize
 d communities is Aditi's passion. Her work is developing and implementing 
 community-based programs for public health education and health promotion 
 and promoting CIRM programs in her role as Community Outreach Manager. Thi
 s is a regular membership meeting of the Rotary Club of San Francisco\, op
 en to all Rotarians\, visiting Rotarians\, prospective members\, and guest
