DESCRIPTION:Prepare to be moved as you learn about the Guide Dogs for the B
 lind (GDB). Jennifer Bernstein\, Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA)\, of GD
 B will provide a historical perspective on GDB\, its founding\, mission\, 
 and the intensive training regimen guide dogs go through in preparing them
  for a lifetime of service to their owners. She will also speak to the cha
 llenges experienced during COVID and how GDB is doing today and its future
 .  Jennifer Bernstein has been with GDB since 2001 and became the Volunte
 er Engagement Manager in 2005. She oversees over 400 volunteers on both th
 e California and Oregon campuses\, where volunteers perform over 40 differ
 ent activities. She also manages the tour program\, welcoming thousands of
  people each year and engaging them with GDB's mission to harness the powe
 r of partnerships – connecting people\, dogs\, and communities – to tr
 ansform the lives of individuals with visual impairments. Jennifer lives i
 n Petaluma\, California where she enjoys the outdoors and friendships in h
 er community.  This is a regular membership meeting of the Rotary Club of
  San Francisco\, open to all Rotarians\, visiting Rotarians\, prospective
