DESCRIPTION:Registration is now closed for this service project. The San Fr
ancisco-Marin Food Bank continues to need your helping hands. Members and
guests are invited to assemble and package food for distribution at the Sa
n Francisco-Marin Food Bank. Register early as the number of volunteers is
limited to 10 for safety reasons. Click here for mask guidelines dependi
ng on your vaccination status. Here is some information you must know and
agree to before signing up: Please review these screening questions from
the City and County of San Francisco. Orientation and training are inclu
ded in each shift. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Age limits:
Weekdays: 11+ years old Saturdays: 8+ years old Sundays: 4+ years old I
nstructions: Closed-toe shoes are required at all volunteer projects. We
recommend volunteers not wear jewelry. If worn\, all items must be covered
by the provided gloves and/or hairnets. We suggest dressing in casual an
d clean layers\, as the temperature in the warehouse is often cool. Plea
se join us. The need for volunteers at the Food Bank continues to be great
as our community recovers from financial and food insecurities.
