DESCRIPTION:The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank continues to need your helpin
g hands. Members and guests are invited to assemble and package food for d
istribution at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. Register early as the nu
mber of volunteers is limited to 15 for safety reasons. Click here for ma
sk guidelines depending on your vaccination status. Here is some informati
on you must know and agree to before signing up: Please review these scre
ening questions from the City and County of San Francisco. Orientation a
nd training are included in each shift. Minors must be accompanied by an
adult. Age limits: Weekdays: 11+ years old Saturdays: 8+ years old Sund
ays: 4+ years old Instructions: Closed-toe shoes are required at all vol
unteer projects. We recommend volunteers not wear jewelry. If worn\, all
items must be covered by the provided gloves and/or hairnets. We suggest
dressing in casual and clean layers\, as the temperature in the warehouse
is often cool. Please join us. The need for volunteers at the Food Bank
continues to be great as our community recovers from financial and food in
securities.
