 amily\, community\, history\, and culture. The name of the holiday is deri
 ved from the Swahili phrase matunda ya kwanza\, meaning “fruits of the h
 arvest.” Kwanzaa focuses on seven key principles\, identified in Swahili
 : Umoja - Unity Kujichagulia - Self-Determination Ujima - Collective Work 
 and Responsibility Ujamaa - Cooperative Economics Nia - Purpose Kuumba - C
 reativity Imani – Faith  There is no charge for this event that begins a
