DESCRIPTION: St. Joseph's Family Center\, located in San Francisco’s Sout
 h of Market neighborhood\, is a 35-bed emergency shelter for homeless fami
 lies with extensive support services that include health and social servic
 es\, peer support\, job training\, children's activities\, and case manage
 ment. St. Joseph’s is one of only three shelters in San Francisco that s
 erves homeless families.   Help us build connections and memories through
  a holiday celebration. We are looking for volunteers and to join us for o
 ur annual Christmas Holiday Party. Volunteers will help cook\, serve\, wra
 p presents\, and engage with clients. It is a wonderful\, festive occasion
  to provide our families with an opportunity to come together and enjoy th
 e holiday season.  Two shifts are available from 3PM-5PM and 5PM-9PM. Whe
 n you register to attend\, please indicate in the comments whether you are
  attending the 3 PM shift or the 5 PM shift. Please join us\; your help ca
 n make all the difference. The need for volunteer support at Catholic Char
 ities continues to be great as our community recovers from the financial a
 nd food insecurities caused by COVID-19.
