DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Rotary International Convention will be held in Singap
 ore from May 25-29. Today's speaker will share Singapore’s history\, ec
 onomics\, culture\, and why you should visit especially during the RI Conv
 ention. Gregory Yap CMP is Vice President of Future Tourism Meetings and L
 eisure Trade-Americas for the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). He is based i
 n San Francisco and has been with the STB for over a decade\, honing his t
 ourism career in various roles in the Experience Development and Internati
 onal Group\, developing and implementing strategies to foster the growth o
 f business tourism and trade engagement. Gregory also founded a start-up\,
  TAB\, to connect business travelers and organizers with unique destinatio
 n experiences. Gregory graduated Magna Cum Laude in Hospitality\, Meetings
  and Event Management from the University of Nevada\, Las Vegas. He has al
 so been a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) since 2014. This is a regul
 ar membership meeting of the Rotary Club of San Francisco\, open to all Ro
 tarians\, visiting Rotarians\, prospective members\, and guests. Meeting S

 noon and beyond on March 15\, 2024 and includes any walk-ins on Tuesday\, 
 March 19.  The Hotel Nikko holds us to the headcount that we submit on Fr
 iday at noon\, prior to our Tuesday meeting\, whether those registered att

 lationship with our host hotel.  For attendance via Zoom: For those who 
 wish to participate via Zoom\, there is a $10 fee to attend. Parking: If y
