DESCRIPTION:In honor of Pride Month\, the Rotary Club of San Francisco prou
 dly welcomes San Francisco’s first ever Drag Laureate — D’Arcy Dro
 llinger! D’Arcy was announced as Drag Laureate by the City of San Franci
 sco in May of 2023\; her tenure runs for 18 months. This ambassador-type p
 osition\, which the City says is the first in the U.S.\, seeks to bring vi
 sibility to the LGBTQ community and works with city agencies to address LG
 BTQ people’s needs. D’Arcy was selected by City officials due to her r
 ecord of public service — including Meals on Heels\, which she created d
 uring COVID to employ out-of-work drag artists to deliver food and perform
 ances. D'Arcy Drollinger is an actor\, writer\, director\, choreographer\,
  producer\, entrepreneur\, and a native San Franciscan. D’Arcy is the ow
 ner and artistic director of OASIS\, which employs 200 individuals and was
  voted San Francisco's best nightclub/cabaret. D’Arcy is the producer\, 
 director\, and co-star of the long-running Bay Area holiday tradition\, Th
 e Golden Girls Live.  This is a regular membership meeting of the Rotary C
 lub of San Francisco\, open to all Rotarians\, visiting Rotarians\, prospe
 ctive members\, and guests. Meeting Schedule:   12:00 Noon  Registration

 cludes any walk-ins on Tuesday\, June 4. The Hotel Nikko holds us to the h
 eadcount that we submit on Friday at noon\, prior to our Tuesday meeting\,

 nce via Zoom: For those who wish to participate via Zoom\, there is a $10
  fee to attend. Parking: If you are driving to the Hotel Nikko for this me
