We are very lucky to tour this exhibit with a familiar face as our docent - Peggy Mathers. J oin us to learn more about these incredible cultures and artworks with mor e than 150 pieces of art on display. Following this one-hour tour\, we wil l have a reception at the Asian Art Museum itself including a light dinner buffet with Asian-inspired dishes\, wine\, and non-alcoholic options. The re are two ways to attend this event. You can either buy tickets for the t our and reception or you can just attend the reception if you are unable t o join us earlier or a one-hour walking tour isn't feasible. We'd love to have you join for both if possible. The museum does provide on-demand whee lchairs in the coat check area if helpful. Your tour ticket also gives you access to the general exhibits at the museum\, and the museum will be ope n until 8 PM on this day if you'd like to explore more. There is easy publ ic transportation access through the BART and Muni Civic Center station wh ich is a short walk away. If you are driving\, the Civic Center parking ga rage across the street is open until 10 PM. The tour begins at 5 PM\, and the reception begins at 6 PM.
