DESCRIPTION:On Emergency Services Day\, the Rotary Club of San Francisco an
 nually honors outstanding representatives of the departments that we depen
 d on for our public safety: the Fire Department\, the Department of Emerge
 ncy Management\, the Police Department\, the Sheriff’s Office\, the Coas
 t Guard\, and the Recreation and Park Rangers. Each honoree is celebrated 
 for acts of heroism and outstanding service in handling an urgent call to 
 duty in the past year. The heroes of Emergency Services Day are selected b
 y the leadership of their department. This is a grand public forum where d
 epartment leaders thank and congratulate the award winners\, cheered on by
  an appreciative audience which include Rotarians\, families of these guar
 dians of our City\, department leadership\, and many political notables. 
 This event has grown to be one of the most popular luncheons of the Rotary
  year.  When: February 27\, 2023 from 11:15 AM to 2 PM. Where: Emergency
  Services Day 2023 will be held at the Academy of Art Automobile Museum\,
  1849 Washington Street (corner of Washington Street and Van Ness Avenue)
 . Follow signs to enter on the Van Ness Avenue side.  Transportation and 
 Parking: The Museum is very accessible by public transportation\; the MUNI
  49 bus drops you off with a minute’s walking distance. For those who wi
 sh to drive\, there is street parking and also a paid parking garage at Ol
 d First Garage at 1725 Sacramento Street\, San Francisco\, CA 94109\, a fi
 ve-minute\, two-block walk to the venue. Schedule: Lunch will be served st
 arting at 11:50 AM\, and the program commences at 12:15 PM\, concluding at
  1:30 PM with the Museum opened until 2 PM for viewing pleasure. Registrat

 veryone\, including Honorees and guests of all types\, must register. SOLD
  OUT. Indvidual registration is now closed. There is no charge for the Hon
 orees and their guests. The charge for Club members\, visiting Rotarians\,
  and the general public is $75 until 5 PM on Friday\, February 10\, 2023.
  Price goes up to $90 beginning 5 PM on Friday\, February 10\, 2023.  Re
 gistration closes at midnight on Sunday\, February 19\, 2023.  Sponsorship
 : Our Club is also accepting sponsorships for this special event. Please c
