DESCRIPTION:Tourism Industry Leader Anna Marie Presutti will discuss the st
 ate of tourism in the City: where we are and where we're headed.  In Sept
 ember 2024\, Anna Marie became the first woman to serve as president and C
 EO of the 115-year-old San Francisco Travel Association\, the official des
 tination marketing organization for the City and County of San Francisco a
 nd one of the oldest and largest membership-based tourism promotion organi
 zations in the United States. She has been a tourism industry leader for o
 ver two decades and previously served twice as San Francisco Travel’s Bo
 ard Chair and on the Super Bowl 50 Bay Area Host Committee. Before taking 
 the helm of San Francisco Travel\, Anna Marie was Vice President and Gener
 al Manager of Hotel Nikko San Francisco where our Club currently meets for
  Rotary luncheons. Her career also includes significant leadership roles a
 t Kimpton Hotels\, ITT Sheraton\, Hilton Hotels\, and Sunstone Hotel Prope
 rties\, where she honed her expertise in hotel operations and sales strate
 gy. Anna Marie began her career at Walt Disney World in Orlando.   Throug
 hout her career\, Anna Marie has been consistently recognized for her exce
 llence in hospitality leadership. She was named one of the “Most Influen
 tial Women in the Bay Area” by the San Francisco Business Times and rece
 ived the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Outstanding General Mana
 ger of the Year award. She was also honored with the Hotel Council of San 
 Francisco’s Peter Goldman Award of Excellence and the Northern Californi
 a Chapter PCMA’s Legend Award\, acknowledging her contributions to the i
 ndustry and her commitment to excellence.   A passionate advocate for the
  travel and tourism sector\, Anna Marie serves on the boards of the U.S. T
 ravel Association and the Bay Area Host Committee. She is also a trustee o
 f the Missouri State University Foundation. She earned her degree in Commu
 nications at Missouri State and grew up in Kansas City. Also speaking to u
 s will be Dahlia Myers. Dahlia\, a graduate from Lowell High School\, was 
 a Rotary Youth Exchange student this past year in Germany. A year ago\, ou
 r Club gave to Dahlia a bunch of our Club's Rotary flags for her to exchan
 ge when she visited Rotary clubs in Germany. Dahlia has returned from her 
 exchange year and will share her experience with us. This is a regular mem
 bership meeting of the Rotary Club of San Francisco\, open to all Rotarian
