DESCRIPTION:Join the members of the Rotary Club of San Francisco\, their fa
 milies\, and their friends for the Walk to End Alzheimer's®\, the world
 ’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care\, s
 upport\, and research. Pre-registration for the Walk is required.  To reg
 ister under our Club's Team\, go here: http://act.alz.org/goto/SF2 Follow 
 the instructions on the website to either join the Walk or to donate.  Ea
 ch participant should register themselves so they can accept the terms of 
 the liability waiver and provide a valid email address where they can rece
 ive details about the event. If walking\, please arrive on Saturday\, Nove
 mber 4 by 8:30 AM to check in at Pier 27 located at 27 The Embarcadero\, S
 an Francisco. Pier 27 is where Chestnut\, Battery\, and Lombard Streets in
 tersect with The Embarcadero. Past Club President Mary Liu will meet you b
 y the Rotary tent.  It is recommended that you contact Mary three days 
 before (November 1) to confirm that you will be attending so that she can 
 expect you on November 4.  Please wear your Rotary Club of San Francisco 
 yellow colored vest to easily identify yourself as a member of our Club. I
 f you do not have this vest\, let Mary know. Also\, bring sun protection s
 uch as sunblock\, sunglasses\, or hat\, and wear comfortable walking shoes
 . The walk is approximately one mile.  This year\, our Rotary District 51
 50 is also participating in the Walk and Past Rotary International Preside
 nt\, Jennifer Jones will also be walking with us so we will have a good sh
 owing of Rotarians at this event.  It will be a great way to meet new Rot
 arians and to show our Rotary spirit. After the walk\, come join us for dr
 inks and lunch at a nearby restaurant.  Lunch bill is on your own.  Plea
 se Email Mary if you plan to join us for lunch so we can make appropriat
 e seating arrangements.   See you on Saturday\, November 4\, and thank y
 ou for your support! Schedule is as follows: 8:30 AM - Arrive and meet at 
 the Rotary tent.  Take a photo in our booth. 9:15 AM - Be at the big stag
 e to take the Rotary supports Alzheimer's Association Walk photo with Past
  Rotary International President Jennifer Jones. 9:30 AM - Photo with PRIP 
 Jennifer Jones and local news stations. 9:45 AM - Ceremony 10:00 AM - Walk
  starts. Noon - Drinks and lunch with our Club members.  Must RSVP to Mar
 y Liu.
