DESCRIPTION:Kent Campbell is a Strategist for Reputation X\, a reputation m
 anagement services company that helps brands defend against fake news\, bu
 ild online reputation\, and increase search visibility online. He has over
  ten years of consultative sales and technical marketing experience and sp
 ecializes in search engine marketing\, social media marketing\, content ma
 rketing\, and reputation management. Kent has been a Rotarian for over a d
 ecade. He served as president of the Rotary Club of Ventura South in South
 ern California and is currently the president of the Rotary Club of Mill V
 alley. As a Rotarian\, he and others have immunized children from polio in
  the jungles of Nigeria\; opened diabetes treatment clinics in Cameroon\; 
 helped to bring water to remote villages in the Philippines\, thus freeing
  Philippine girls to attend school instead of carrying water\; and worked 
 on sanitation projects in Peru.  Locally\, Kent has participated in proje
 cts to eliminate hunger and improve both education and health care. Kent
 ’s presentation today entitled “Engineering Influence” explores the 
 origins of fake news\, how it is created\, who creates it\, and how to spo
 t bogus online content.  He will take us on a stroll through the dark sid
 e of the web where stolen identities\, online viruses\, and imaginary peop
