DESCRIPTION:Stephen DeLay with the San Francisco Federal Reserve will talk 
 about the Federal Reserve's role in fighting inflation and maintaining ful
 l employment.  Stephen DeLay serves as vice president and regional execut
 ive for the San Francisco Head Office of the Federal Reserve Bank of San F
 rancisco. In this role\, he fosters trusted relationships with leaders in 
 the business and banking sectors in Northern California\, Hawaiʻi\, and N
 orthern Nevada. He started his career as a consumer compliance bank examin
 er and has held several leadership positions during his career. Stephen se
 rved as the Director of the Consumer Compliance Supervision function\, as 
 well as a Senior Manager for consumer compliance\, the Community Reinvestm
 ent Act (CRA)\, and fair lending examinations. Additionally\, he has manag
 ed Supervision’s Quality Assurance and Business Process Improvement func
 tions. Stephen holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the State Uni
 versity of New York at Albany and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banki
 ng School. This is a regular membership meeting of the Rotary Club of San 
 Francisco\, open to all Rotarians\, visiting Rotarians\, prospective membe
