DESCRIPTION:Our San Francisco Rotary Foundation gave the San Francisco-Mari
n Food Bank $10\,000 this fiscal year. One of the requirements is that Rot
arians are given an opportunity to do hands-on activities with the organiz
ation. Here it is! We are looking to fill seven more slots to help us bu
ild grocery boxes for seniors\, sort donations\, and other various tasks a
s needed. Orientation and training are included in each shift. GUIDELIN
ES All volunteers MUST be at least 8+ years old. Minors must be accompanie
d by an adult. Only volunteer if you are healthy and completely comfortabl
e serving. Closed-toe shoes are required for all volunteers. Volunteer
s should not wear jewelry. If worn\, all items must be covered by the prov
ided gloves and/or hairnets. We suggest dressing in casual and clean lay
ers\, as the temperature in the warehouse is often cool. REGISTRATION
Registration is now limited to 7 volunteers. So\, please register early.
