DESCRIPTION:Woody LaBounty will share his perspective on San Francisco hist
 ory\, talk about the various neighborhoods\, and opine on where San Franci
 sco is today. Woody is president and CEO of San Francisco Heritage\, a 52-
 year-old nonprofit organization with a mission to preserve and enhance San
  Francisco’s unique architectural and cultural heritage. Before joining 
 Heritage\, he was the longtime executive director of the local history org
 anization\, Western Neighborhoods Project. There\, he led efforts to save
  relief cottages built after the 1906 earthquake\, scan and post more than
  50\,000 historical images online (OpenSFHistory.org)\, and produce the an
 nual San Francisco History Days weekend at the Old Mint. Woody is the auth
 or of two books on San Francisco history and writes weekly on the subject 
 at SanFranciscoStory.com.   Woody will present a perspective on San Fran
 cisco history\, talk about the various neighborhoods\, perhaps his favorit
 e\, and opine on where San Francisco is today. This is a regular membershi
 p meeting of the Rotary Club of San Francisco\, open to all Rotarians\, vi
