DESCRIPTION:Miss Indian New Mexico\, Inc. is a Tribal group that seeks to t
 o protect\, revitalize\, and educate communities of the diverse cultures o
 f all Tribal Nations in the State of New Mexico. Miss Indian New Mexico\, 
 Inc. also coordinates and manages the annual Miss Indian New Mexico Pagean
 t and aims to continue and empower the legacy of young Native women.  Joi

 Natalie Arellanez: Natalie currently sits as the President of the Miss Ind
 ian New Mexico\, Inc. Board of Directors and is Miss Indian New Mexico XLV
  (45) from 2012-2013. She is from the Pueblo of Acoma tribe and shares th
 e lineage of Hopi and Navajo. Natalie graduated from the University of Ne
 w Mexico in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Native
  American Studies and completed in 2012 a Bachelor of Arts in Family Studi
 es with a minor in Psychology. In 2020 she completed a Masters of Arts in 
 Language\, Literacy\, and Sociocultural Studies with a concentration in Am
 erican Indian Education. She currently works for the University of New Mex
 ico as a Supervisor of Student Success and Certification Officer. Alysia C
 oriz: Alysia is the current Miss Indian New Mexico LIV (54). She is a prou
 d member of the Kewa Pueblo tribe (formerly known as Santo Domingo Pueblo)
 . Alysia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Native American Studies with a con
 centration in Indigenous Learning Communities and a minor in Business Mana
 gement from the University of New Mexico. She is the Director of Membershi
 p and Outreach with the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women\; 
 serves as the Co-Chair of the All Pueblo Council of Governor’s Youth Com
 mittee and Board Secretary for Naeva (formerly known as the Native America
 n Voter’s Alliance – Education Project)\; and is also the Pueblo Repre
 sentative in the inaugural State of New Mexico Indigenous Youth Council an
 d is the Female Co-President for the Kewa TRUTH Youth Council. Nicole John
 ny: Nicole is Vice President-Treasurer and Miss Indian New Mexico XLVII (
 47) from 2014-2015. She is a member of the Navajo Nation with her clans as
  Kiyaa'áanii born for Tsi'naajinii. Her chei is Tábaahí\, and her nali 
 is Naashaashi Dine'é. Nicole graduated from Pepperdine University with a
 n MBA in finance and an undergraduate degree in finance and economics. She
  has experience working in investment banking with RBC Capital Markets\, t
 ribal land valuations from both a federal and tribal perspective\, and com
 mercial real estate development. Currently\, she works for Raven Indigenou
 s Capital Partners and serves on the Board for Diné Development Corporati
 on\, Changing Woman Initiative\, and WESST. This is a regular membership m
 eeting of the Rotary Club of San Francisco\, open to all Rotarians\, visit
