DESCRIPTION:Imagine experiencing the elegance of San Francisco’s finest A
 rt Deco interior while supporting opportunities for Bay Area high school s
 tudents to learn leadership.  ALPS\, the Rotary Club of San Francisco’s
  Action Leadership Program for Students\, pairs trained adult leadership c
 oaches with youth to bring to fruition student-generated and student-led c
 ommunity improvement projects in Marin\, San Francisco\, and San Mateo cou
 nties.  ALPS youth leaders have designed community projects in mental hea
 lth support\, urban green space development\, small business marketing\, A
 sian American Immigrant labor rights\, elementary literacy\, and many othe
 r social issues.  Please join us on April 1\, 2022 from 6 to 9 PM for the
  Third Annual ALPS ‘Fund the Future’ Gala to raise much needed funds t
 o expand the program.  The venue is the historic\, art-filled\, Art Deco 
 masterpiece - The City Club of San Francisco\, located on the 10th Floor o
 f 155 Sansome Street in San Francisco’s Financial District.   The even
 ing features student stories of their ALPS journeys and leadership learnin
 gs as well as cocktails and wine\, hors d’ oeuvres\, live auction\, sile
 nt auction\, revelry\, warm fellowship\, live music by the Spencer Hoefert
  Quartet\, dancing if you wish\, and an immersion in Art Deco friezes\, me
 talwork\, sculpture\, and paintings\, including Diego Rivera’s first fre
 sco\, The Allegory of California\, pictured here and painted in the U.S. a
 round 1930.  Proof of Vaccination Required To maximize the health and saf
 ety of Rotarians\, guests\, speakers\, and the staff at The City Club of S
 an Francisco (where we meet for this event)\, all in-person attendees must
  provide proof of vaccination. Masks are optional during the event. We rec
 ommend that fully vaccinated individuals wear masks when the risk may be h
