DESCRIPTION: It's time for one of our most popular service projects — Tha
 nksgiving at The Arc San Francisco! In the spirit of giving thanks\, Rotar
 ians will gather two days before the Holiday on Tuesday\, November 24\, 20
 26 to provide a Thanksgiving feast for participants at The Arc SF.  There
  are several ways to participate from helping to prepare food on Monday\, 
 November 23 or Tuesday\, November 24 in the early morning or being a serve
 r or a member of the clean-up team. Volunteers are encouraged to mingle wi
 th The Arc clients and eat before or after their shift (seatings at 11:30 
 AM\, 12 noon\, and 12:30 PM).  Please click here to sign up and to choose
  your shift. The Arc SF is an organization that partners with adults with 
 developmental disabilities\; it was started by a group of parents concerne
 d about a lack of services for their sons and daughters in San Francisco o
 ver 70 years ago. Since then\, The Arc SF has become a primary resource fo
 r people with disabilities\, helping them live\, learn\, work\, and be par
 t of their communities. The Arc SF provides opportunities for self-determi
 nation\, dignity\, and quality of life to over 750 participants with disab
 ilities.  During this Thanksgiving Celebration\, the Rotary Club of San F
 rancisco will also deliver meals to Family House and Harbor Light.  We lo
