This meeting and all su bsequent evening meetings do NOT replace the weekly Tuesday luncheon meeti ngs which will continue.  This evening\, our speaker will be Matt Valdez\ , Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of the San Francisco Giants.  Matt was born and raised in San Francisco’s Excelsior District and joine d the Giants in 2017 after advising as an outside counsel since 2015. He a ssists with and advises the team on a wide variety of legal and business m atters across many aspects of the organization\, including partnerships\, ballpark events\, immigration\, operations\, real estate and more. He is a lso an active member of the organization’s Diversity\, Equity and Inclus ion council and played a critical role in overseeing an organization wide assessment and assisting with the development of the organization’s DE&I strategy over the last several years. Matt is active in the local communi ty\, currently serving on the Justice and Diversity Center of the Bar of S an Francisco Board of Directors and supporting several San Francisco commu nity based non-profits focused on youth and community development. He is a graduate of Lowell High School\, California State University Northridge\, and UC Hastings Law.  There is no charge to attend this meeting\, but ea ch attendee pays individually for food and beverages ordered at MoMo's. S o that we can plan the space\, we ask that you please register. Feel free to bring guest(s) and register them as well. MoMo's is located directly ac ross from the San Francisco Giants Oracle Park. There is no game or concer t scheduled this evening. You can park in the neighborhood or take public transportation.  The “N” Judah MUNI railcar stops at 2nd and King St ation\, adjacent to Oracle Park and to MoMo’s.
