The Rotary Club of San Francisco sincerely appreciates the generous donations to the San Francisco Rotary Foundation, The Rotary Foundation, the Gifts of Giving campaign, and other initiatives. To express our thanks, the Development Committee held a telephone calling party on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Vice President of Development Maureen O'Shea hosted the calling party at her home. Joining her were Robin Azevedo, David Folk, 2024-2025 President Bob Hermann, Dan Joraanstad, and Anita Stangl. The Committee divided the work, and each called Rotarians who had donated this past year. Maureen did a great job putting our agenda in context by pointing out that contributions truly make our work possible.
At the recent District 5150 Conference, the Rotary Club of San Francisco received six Club Excellence Awards for outstanding achievement in the following: Membership, Community Service, International Service, Youth Service, Public Image, and Vocational Service. These awards are a testament to the power of support and what we can accomplish together.
