President Frank congratulated the recent graduates from the Salvation Army Culinary Academy.
Grant Presentation
Robin Azevedo (Retail: Mattresses | Retired, McRoskey Mattress Company) on behalf of the San Francisco Rotary Foundation presented a check in the amount of $7,500 to Lifehouse whose mission since 1954 is to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in San Francisco, Marin, and Sonoma Counties. Allan Herzog (Financial Services: Advising | Wells Fargo Advisors) accepted on behalf of Lifehouse. The grant is for an overhead door project.

Grand Slam Winner
Immediate Past District Governor Steve Wright and District Governor Mitone Griffiths awarded the District 5150 Grand Slam award to President Frank Yoke.
This District 5150 recognition program called the Grand Slam recognizes those members who are Major Donors AND members of the PolioPlus, Paul Harris, and Bequest (has agreed to leave a bequest to The Rotary Foundation in their estate plan) Societies.

President Frank introduced today's speaker — TRF Trustee Greg Podd. Greg talked about The Rotary Foundation and what our donations have accomplished around the world. President Frank thanked TRF Trustee Greg Podd and announced that 100 children would be inoculated against polio in Greg's name.
