SERVICE PROJECT January 21, 2023: Rotary Meadow Restoration
Come and enjoy nature, fresh air, and fellowship while helping Sutro Stewards seed and restore Rotary Meadow - a garden of native plants our Club planted at the summit of Mount Sutro in 2004. Participation is limited to a maximum of 20 members of our Club. Advanced registration is required. 
ROTARY LUNCHEON January 24, 2023: Russell Low and Spirit of the Early Chinese American Pioneers: One Family's Story 
Finding a previously unknown 100-year-old Hong family photograph among the belongings of his great uncle Kim, Russell Low embarked upon a decades-long search to find the stories behind the 1903 photograph. In his new historical novel, Three Coins, Low weaves family stories and real-life characters with the historical and political events of 19th-century America. 
CLUB SOCIAL January 28, 2023: Ping Pong Social
Join your fellow Rotarians for our first 2023 social to determine who will win bragging rights as our Ping Pong Champions! We will have tables reserved from 2 to 4 PM. Admission includes a light lunch and soft drinks. All Rotarians, their families and guests, and prospective members are welcome. Registration closes on January 22, 2023; sign up now to join the fun.
ROTARY LUNCHEON January 31, 2023: Andrew Fraknoi and the James Webb Space Telescope
Andrew Fraknoi, an astronomer and physicist with the Fromm Institute at USF and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of San Francisco State University, will be speaking on the James Webb Space Telescope and sharing the latest images that have been beamed back from the Webb. He'll also talk on the two upcoming solar eclipses. This presentation will be in everyday language; no science background is required.
Supper Club at The Arc: February 13, 2023
The Monday Night Supper Club at The Arc returns to in-person services. Enjoy the opportunity to help with meal set-up and then, sit, eat, and get to know The Arc's participants. This event is limited to 8 volunteers maximum.
SPECIAL EVENT February 27, 2023: Emergency Services Day
On Emergency Services Day, the Rotary Club of San Francisco annually honors outstanding representatives of the departments that we depend on for our public safety: the Fire Department, the Department of Emergency Management, the Police Department, the Sheriff’s Office, the Coast Guard, and the Recreation and Park Rangers. This year, ESD will be held at the Academy of Art Automobile Museum. Join us for this very special in-person event.
