As Senior Vice President of Investments for RBC Wealth Management, he played an important role for many years in managing the funds held by the San Francisco Rotary Foundation. He was one of the investment managers who regularly provided a financial “prognostication” as the first speaker of the calendar year.

Sam passed away on November 10, 2021. See his obituary. If you have a copy of A Tradition of Fellowship and Service: The Rotary Club of San Francisco at 100, you can find more information on Sam's contributions to our Club and to Rotary.

Sock Donation at April 19, 2022 Rotary Luncheon
If you’re coming in person to our Passover Seder at our April 19, 2022 luncheon meeting, please consider bringing one or more pairs of new crew-style socks for men or for women. The Seder teaches us that the time we spent as needy strangers in Egypt compels us to care for people we don’t know. The socks will be donated to the young adults in the California Conservation Corp. who respond to natural and manmade disasters.
