ROTARY LUNCHEON: Stephen DeLay — Federal Reserve's Role in inflation and employment

Stephen DeLay with the San Francisco Federal Reserve will talk about the Federal Reserve's role in fighting inflation and maintaining full employment.
Stephen DeLay serves as vice president and regional executive for the San Francisco Head Office of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. In this role, he fosters trusted relationships with leaders in the business and banking sectors in Northern California, Hawaiʻi, and Northern Nevada.
He started his career as a consumer compliance bank examiner and has held several leadership positions during his career. Stephen served as the Director of the Consumer Compliance Supervision function, as well as a Senior Manager for consumer compliance, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), and fair lending examinations. Additionally, he has managed Supervision’s Quality Assurance and Business Process Improvement functions.
Stephen holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.

For in-person attendees: We welcome all attendees! The in-person registration cost for all adults and children is $45 until 11:59 AM on Friday, April 10, 2026. The meeting cost increases to $60 at noon and beyond on April 10, 2026 and includes any walk-ins on Tuesday, April 14.
The Hotel Nikko holds us to the headcount that we submit on Friday at noon, prior to our Tuesday meeting, whether those registered attend or not. In Rotary spirit, thanks for helping us to maintain a good relationship with our host hotel.
For attendance via Zoom: For those who wish to participate via Zoom, there is a $15 fee to attend.

Parking: If you are driving to the Hotel Nikko for this meeting, please leave your car with the Hotel Nikko valet. Pick up a validation sticker available at our check-in table. The discounted parking is $25 for three hours.
