Jefferson Award Winner Sherri Franklin is the Founder and Executive Director of Muttville Senior Dog Rescue in San Francisco. Sherri, a longtime animal advocate, served on the San Francisco Animal Control and Welfare Commission where she wrote legislation protecting backyard dogs and dealt with the many issues concerning animal safety in our city.

Since Sherri founded Muttville eight years ago, out of her home. Muttville has found loving homes for over 3,400 senior dogs slated for euthanasia.

Sherri will talk to us about the magic of Muttville, describing the innovative ideas and new model she created that has had a profound impact on the lives of senior dogs and the humans who love them, while changing the face of animal sheltering and animal rescue.
