Absent were Nancy Graydon, Tim Hornbecker, and Dan Davies. Today’s guests were District Governor Steve Wright and Assistant Governor Erik Scheller.

District Dues
In accordance to our Club's Bylaws, the President can only authorize an expenditure up to $5,000. The current District dues is $6,137 and required Board approval. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to pay the District dues in the amount of $6,137.

District Governor's Visit
President Bob introduced District 5150 Governor Steve Wright and Assistant Governor Erik Scheller and noted that today was the annual District Governor visit to our Club. During this visit, it is a tradition for the DG to ask each Board member about responsibilities and accomplishments. However, DG Steve preferred to use the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis.

For strengths, the Board identified the fun, the generosity, our Club's attraction to new members, and our leadership and presence in San Francisco. For weaknesses, it was too many projects without enough hands, causing a few members to carry a heavy load. For opportunities, the Board explored partnerships with other organizations. For threats, the Board talked about the cost of being a member.

DG Steve encouraged us to attend the upcoming Membership Summit.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:48 AM.
