A message from District Governor Gary Chow: Below is a quick 10-minute, online training opportunity to help our Rotarians recognize and safely act upon a potential human trafficking situation. The Bay Area Anti-Trafficking Coalition (BAATC) has presented at many of our Rotary clubs and Human Trafficking workshops over the past four years. Although this particular training focuses on activities at airports, the same awareness and procedures are applicable anywhere. You can report suspicious behavior 24/7 to the National Human Trafficking Hotline at: 1-888-373-7888.

Let us all be mindful of those still enslaved around us—victims caught in a cycle of exploitation where they are made to move, work, and sleep daily without many freedoms.

We all have a part to play in disrupting the cycle of human trafficking happening in the communities where we work and live. Remember, your efforts, your calls and tips reported, can work to save lives and bring freedom.
