Rotarians, along with their families, guests, and fellow visiting Rotarians from all over the Bay Area, converged for an electrifying spectacle on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Picture this: a dazzling, front-row vantage point providing jaw-dropping vistas of the bustling Fisherman's Wharf and the mesmerizing expanse of the San Francisco Bay. What was the catalyst for this extraordinary gathering? None other than our Club's third annual Blue Angels Viewing Party Extravaganza!

Under a canopy of San Francisco's finest weather, amidst the sizzling backdrop of a heatwave weekend, the heavens painted a picture of azure perfection, setting the stage for an unforgettable Blue Angels' performance. The skies thundered with their majestic maneuvers, and the synchronized choreography of the Blue Angels left the audience in a state of utter spellbinding wonder, their hearts racing with pure exhilaration. The event's location, spaciousness, delicious food, and decorations all contributed perfectly to the occasion.

And let us not forget the raffle! The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce generously contributed two roundtrip tickets aboard Southwest Airlines, while the Aquarium of the Bay bestowed tote bags brimming with delightful surprises and tickets to their aquatic wonderland. Applause to Angelina Preza for securing these coveted Aquarium donations. Immediate Past President Christopher Wiseman generously donated four bottles of exclusive wine from his personal collection. Amazon gift certificates and Rotary luncheon tickets added to the thrill of the draw.

As your Blue Angels Viewing Party Chair, I would like to thank Paul Yep, a new Rotarian and the Vice President of Campus Safety and Lab Resources at the Academy of Art University, for crafting this spectacular event. Gratitude is also extended to our dedicated volunteers, with President Sunny Singh orchestrating our partnership with the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and serving as emcee.

A nod of appreciation to Stanley Liu (my brother), our intrepid photographer, whose stunning captures can be found here

Further kudos to Rosie Liu (my sister-in-law) and Maureen O'Shea for their invaluable support at the registration desk, and to Christine Carriere and Arianna Niu, both RYLA Alumni, and the dynamic duo of Stephanie and Molly Schmautz for their spirited raffle ticket sales.

This spectacular event was made possible through the generosity of our valued sponsors, including the Academy of Art University, Sodexo, Flavours Catering, and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of these sponsors for their exceptional generosity and unwavering support of the Rotary Club of San Francisco.
