Today's SpeakerSteve Lindstrom (Software Engineering | Chairish.com) introduced today's speaker, Valerie McGrew. Valerie is a local historian, who provided an overview of the story of the Irish in San Francisco. The story included snapshots, which focused on the contributions of the Irish to San Francisco especially during its early period and the turn of the 20th century. She also discussed the current vibrant relationship between the San Francisco Bay Area and Ireland. Christopher Wiseman thanked Valerie and announced that 100 children would be inoculated against polio in her name.
