Joint Meeting with the Rotary Club of Oakland
Coming in May 2026 will be a joint meeting with the Rotary Club of Oakland, the third oldest Rotary club in the world. Check back on www.sfrotary.org for registration information.
California Institute of Regenerative Medicine
Aditi Desai and Carly Chillmon joined us to talk about the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM). CIRM is "a state agency created by California voters to accelerate stem cell and gene therapies for people with unmet medical needs." In their presentation, Aditi and Carly discussed the work that CIRM is doing to find treatments and change lives.
Los Álamos Bilingual History and Literacy Project
Lisa Stark (Communications & Media) discussed the Bilingual History and Literacy Project led by the Catalina Rotary Club in Tucson, Arizona and the Álamos History Association in Sonora, Mexico. Below are the components of this project:
