We are excited to announce that we are having two in-person events at the Homeless Prenatal Program (HPP) in June! Maybe you’ve heard about our support of HPP in the past, but you haven’t had a chance to get involved due to COVID. These are your opportunities!

On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, we will gather at HPP located at 2500 18th Street in San Francisco at 5:30 PM to organize diaper bags for mothers-to-be. We have a limit of 12 attendees to make 50 bags of baby clothes, towels, health kits, hats, and other items. Afterwards, we will enjoy a brief tour of the facility so that Rotarians can better understand HPP’s services. Street parking is available near HPP.

On Thursday, June 16, 2022, there will be in-person Baby Showers at HPP. In the morning, there will be a Spanish-speaking shower: Rotarians should arrive at 9:30 AM; the shower will be from 10-12 noon. In the afternoon, there will be an English-speaking shower: Rotarians should arrive at 12:30 PM; shower is from 1-3 PM. Please note that all, no matter gender, are very welcome to attend the Baby Showers.

COVID Protocols: Each attendee will need to present their COVID vaccination card, plus each attendee will need to take a COVID test upon arrival. Attendees will need to preregister for HPP’s COVID tracking system as well. This link will be provided to all who register.

Sign up to attend the HPP events on the Club website today! If you have any questions or concerns regarding the HPP events, please contact Emily Borland.
