New Members Inducted
Dan Joraanstad (Financial Services: Advising | Retired) joined President Frank to induct Craig Peacock (International Trade: Administration | CR Global LLC) and Yun Peacock (International Trade: Finance | CR Global LLC). Both plan to be active in community service and international service. Rotarians in today's audience pledged to support Craig and Yun Peacock on their Rotary journey. Please welcome Craig and Yun when you see them at our meetings and events.

Jerusalem Peacebuilders and Retorika EXCEL Institute
President Frank introduced Dr. Elias Farah who spoke on the mission of Jerusalem Peacebuilders and the project that our Club is supporting as the International Sponsor of a Global Grant from the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. President Frank thanked Dr. Farah and announced that 50 children would be inoculated against polio in Dr. Farah's name.

Student Aid Program
President Frank introduced Diane Wustrack who spoke to us about the Student Aid Program hosted by the Rotary Club de Retalhuleu. Our Club donated district funds to this Program. The funds were used to purchase school supplies, backpacks, food, and other benefits for students and their families.
 
 
Recent and Upcoming Club Activities
President Frank shared the following activities:
  • District Assembly: Registration for the District Assembly to be held on March 21, 2026 is now open. This annual assembly provides a great deal of training and planning for the Rotary Year that begins on July 1, 2026. All Club members are invited, and all Club leaders are strongly encouraged to attend. Our Club will pay for the registration of Club members. Guest Speakers
Peter Logan (Law: Insurance | Peter Logan Law Offices) introduced today's speakers — Carla Pantoja, Toby Leavitt, and Daniel Rabinowitz from the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. The three discussed the history of this Festival and its current season. We also received information on how to support this Festival. President Frank thanked the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and announced that 50 children would be inoculated against polio in the Festival's name.
