I joined this Club in 2016. In almost six years, I have met some outstanding Rotarians in both our Club and the District who mentored and engaged me. Recently, I was asked to be a mentor to our newest member. I readily accepted this new experience. My mentee is Mary Fermi. At our first meeting, we learned that we both worked in private industry and then became educators. Next, we talked about the red badge requirements. These requirements are to allow a new member the opportunities to learn more about Rotary and our Club and to get to know more members in our Club. Once Mary completes these requirements, she will lose the red ribbon on her name badge now and become a full member.
I was also excited to teach Mary how to use ClubRunner to update her information. I look forward to accompanying Mary through her journey in Rotary.
