Gung Hay Fat Choy! Today begins the Year of the Water Rabbit, the fourth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac signs. People born in the year of the Rabbit are quiet most times but also act swiftly when needed. Generally, Rabbits are positive, gentle, and elegant.
This is also the first Lunar New Year that the State of California recognizes as a state holiday. See Press Release from Governor Gavin Newsom.
I wish all Rotarians a prosperous Year of the Rabbit. 恭喜發財 - wishing you great happiness and prosperity!
