EVENING MEETING HIGHLIGHTS July 25, 2024: Our Club's First Evening Meeting
President Bob Hermann, Jr. (Information Technology: Administration | Retired) rang the Rotary bell at 6:35 PM and called to order our Club's first evening meeting at MoMo's. He welcomed everyone in the audience. Scott Morton, the owner of MoMo's, along with his staff joined to thank us for attending and to express how much they are looking forward to a partnership with our Club.
 
Visiting Rotarians and Guests
This evening's Visiting Rotarians were Elizabeth Chafcouloff and Janet Leiva, both from the Rotary Club of San Francisco Castro. Our guests were Jinan Banna, Nathan Brickley, Nona Ehyaei, Les Kimbley, Michelle Liu, Jo Patrick, and Bruce Stinson.

President Bob discussed the meaning behind the ringing of the Rotary bell.
 
Should We Have an Evening Guest Speaker?
President Bob polled the audience on the desire to have a guest speaker at our monthly Evening Meeting. The majority did not want a speaker for the Evening Meetings.

SERVICE PROJECT August 10, 2024: Rotary Meadow Restoration
Come and enjoy nature, fresh air, and fellowship as we do some gardening to improve and enhance Rotary Meadow - a garden of native plants our Club planted at the summit of Mount Sutro in 2004. Participation is limited to a maximum of 20 people. Advanced registration is required. 
 
ROTARY LUNCHEON August 13, 2024: Susan Tipton, Bucking the Trend with White French Rhône Wines in Lodi
Susan Tipton, award-winning woman winemaker, talks about changing the trend in the Lodi wine industry with the introduction of white French Rhône wines. She will also share her experience as a woman in the wine business.
 
 
 
Rotaplast Bocce Ball Tournament and BBQ: August 17, 2024
Rotaplast started as a world community service project of the Rotary Club of San Francisco in 1992-1993, and since then, has sponsored over 200 missions and helped over 20,000 children. Bring smiles to children around the world by participating in (or supporting) this tournament with Rotary clubs throughout our District 5150 and beyond. Funds raised will benefit the mission in Nagamangala, India.
ROTARY LUNCHEON August 20, 2024: District Governor Steve Wright
2024-2025 District 5150 Governor Steve Wright will talk about how this year's Rotary International theme, The Magic of Rotary, impacts our District and our Club.
 
 
 
EVENING MEETING: August 22, 2024
Join us for our Club's NEXT EVENING MEETING where we will conduct some Club business, have dinner, and enjoy Rotary fellowship. There is no charge to attend this meeting, but each attendee pays individually for food and beverages ordered at MoMo's. Please register yourself and your guests so that we can plan the space.
 
 
SOCIAL EVENT August 24, 2024: Vive La France Wine Tasting
Join us for our first Club Social of the new Rotary year! Indulge in the theme of Vive La France, featuring an exceptional selection of French wines, perfectly paired with delicious cheeses and charcuterie. This event is open to all Rotarians and their families and guests age 21 and over. Attendance is capped at 20 people, so register early!
 
No Meeting on September 3, 2024
In honor of the Labor Day holiday weekend, there is no Rotary Luncheon on September 3, 2024. Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
