ROTARY LUNCHEON: District Governor Steve Wright

2024-2025 District 5150 Governor Steve Wright will talk about how this year's Rotary International theme, The Magic of Rotary, impacts our District and our Club.

DG Steve has been a member of the Rotary Club of Pacifica since 1987. He has served his club as president twice, secretary, treasurer, and just about every other club position available. He was the bulletin editor for over 10 years and has served on the club board most of his years as a Rotarian.

At the District level, DG Steve has served as Area Representative, Assistant Governor, District Registrar for about seven years, Global Grants Coordinator, PolioPlus Society Chair, and District Community Service Chair. He chaired the District Conference for three consecutive years with his wife Colleen. He also served as Chief of Staff for Past District Governor Gary Chow in 2022-2023.

Steve and Colleen are Major Donors, Charter Members of the Bequest Society, White Hat Society members, PolioPlus Society members, and have hosted three different Rotary Youth Exchange kids in their home over the years. DG Steve was named the Rotarian of the Year for D5150 in 2018.

For in-person attendees: We welcome all attendees! The in-person registration cost for all adults and children is $45 until 11:59 AM on Friday, August 16, 2024. The meeting cost increases to $60 at noon and beyond on August 16, 2024 and includes any walk-ins on Tuesday, August 20.

The Hotel Nikko holds us to the headcount that we submit on Friday at noon, prior to our Tuesday meeting, whether those registered attend or not. In Rotary spirit, thanks for helping us to maintain a good relationship with our host hotel. 

For attendance via Zoom: For those who wish to participate via Zoom, there is a $15 fee to attend.

Parking: If you are driving to the Hotel Nikko for this meeting, please leave your car with the Hotel Nikko valet. Pick up a validation sticker available at our check-in table. The discounted parking is $25 for three hours.
