Grants and Grant Deadlines
It's Grant Season! The San Francisco Rotary Foundation is slated to grant at least $194,851 in the 2023-24 Rotary year. The deadline to submit a grant application is April 7, 2023—no exceptions! Application and additional information are found here.

The Committees in our Club have until April 19, 2023 to submit recommendations to me, President-Elect Sunny Singh, on how to allocate the funds. I will then present these recommendations to the Club's Board. The Board will review and forward the final recommendations to the San Francisco Rotary Foundation.

Note: Anyone who received a grant for the 2022-2023 Rotary year (current year) must submit a final report by or before April 30, 2023.
A Message from Your Editor
On March 18, 2023, Rotary District 5150 held its Spring for Rotary, a fundraiser for the Rotary International Foundation Annual Fund. This event complete with a mimosa reception, silent and live auctions, brunch, and celebration, was held at the lovely Marin Art and Garden Center and raised over $100,000 for the Annual Fund. With the beautiful flowers, hats including fascinators, and spring clothes all around, it did appear that spring had arrived.

In other words, Service above Self. The dinner features fish, beef, and chicken and costs $45 per Rotarian. Because space is limited, this event is open only to Club members. No guests. The deadline to register is April 4, 2023.
