Throughout the 2026–2027 Rotary year, District Governor YuHui Chen will highlight Rotary International and District awards that are currently accepting nominations or applications. Each month, we'll share award information, recognize past recipients from District 5150, and encourage clubs to nominate deserving Rotarians.
One of the great traditions of the Rotary Club of San Francisco is welcoming visiting Rotarians and guests to our Tuesday meetings. We want every visitor to experience the fellowship and hospitality that have defined our Club for nearly 120 years. At the same time, the Board has a responsibility to ensure that our Club remains financially sustainable. At our July 2026 Board meeting, we approved a small but important update to our luncheon pricing policy that helps us better align our costs while preserving the benefits of membership.
Beginning with our first meeting in September 2026, visiting Rotarians and guests will pay the standard luncheon fee of $60, regardless of when they register.

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Janet Beach has been appointed to serve as the Vice President of Vocational Service for the remainder of the 2026-27 Rotary year. This position became available after the previous Vice President of Vocational Service resigned effective July 31, 2026.
The Board approved Janet’s appointment on August 5, 2026 at a Special Board Meeting. We welcome Janet to the Board of the Rotary Club of San Francisco and thank her for accepting this position.
San Francisco Supervisor Connie Chan, who represents District 1, will share what she is going to do for us when she gets to Congress. She has spent her life giving back to the San Francisco community that welcomed her family when they immigrated to America.
Inspired by the 2026-2027 Rotary International theme, Create Lasting Impact, let’s gather for a Family BBQ (potluck style) and Swim Party. This is also an opportunity to meet the new baby in our Rotary family. All members and guests of the Rotary Club of San Francisco are welcome. Registration is required for planning purposes.
Join us for our Club's NEXT EVENING MEETING where we will conduct some Club business, have dinner, and enjoy Rotary fellowship. There is no charge to attend this meeting, but each attendee pays individually for food and beverages ordered at MoMo's. Please register yourself and your guests so that we can plan the space.
Rotaplast started as a world community service project of the Rotary Club of San Francisco in 1992-1993, and since then, has sponsored over 200 missions and helped over 20,000 children. Bring smiles to children around the world by participating in (or supporting) this tournament with Rotary clubs throughout our District 5150 and beyond. Funds raised will benefit the mission in Nagamangala, India.
Join Family House, a grant partner for the Rotary Club of San Francisco. Our Club will sponsor a catered dinner for that evening. Volunteers will help support the evening, participate in a cleaning project, and spend time with approximately 70 Family House families and staff. Event is limited to 10 people, and Rotarians may bring a guest. Volunteers are encouraged to wear Rotary-branded attire that can get dirty, as well as layers to be prepared for multiple weather conditions.
