Join the party as our Club celebrates Diwali, India’s Festival of Lights. Diwali symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.
After a delicious Indian lunch, we’ll watch the hit Bollywood movie Om Shanti Om, and then enjoy some traditional Indian sweets.
Om Shanti Om tells the story of a murdered aspiring actor who is immediately reincarnated, and then tries to solve the mystery of his demise while searching for Shanti, the love of his previous life. Om Shanti Om was the highest grossing Hindi film ever at the time of its release in 2007. It is rated TV14.
This party is a joint production of our Club’s DEI Film Festival and our Social Events Committee. All Club members, our families, and our friends are welcome.
Be sure to register soon – registration is available through November 7. Tickets are $15 per person and include the lunch and the movie.
Parking: There is a parking garage located across from Rotary Terrace. Additionally, street parking is available free of charge on Sundays. However, please refrain from parking in the Rotary Terrace garage if the door is open, as it is exclusively reserved for their residents.
