Club Member James Horsman will speak to us about Artificial Intelligence (AI): how AI works and how it will make the work we do more efficient. He will share his experience with IT systems and AI productivity tools for efficiency and everyday use.
James joined the Rotary Club of San Francisco in March 2026, but he is not new to Rotary. He was a member of the Rotary Club of the University District in Seattle and then joined the Rotary Club of Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. While at the Capitol Hill Club, James served as Club Service Projects Chair in 2021-2022 and as Club President in 2022-2023.
James Horsman worked in several federal agencies including the U.S. State Department and FEMA while in Washington, DC. He has an extensive background in policy development and currently serves as the Senior Manager of Public Policy for the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce.
James specializes in implementing complex regulatory requirements, ensuring that organizational standards were observed and delivered policies were compliant with the mission. His extensive experience with IT systems led to his development of AI productivity tools to streamline compliance, policy development, and workflow management.
