The 2017-18 President of Rotary International, Ian Riseley, has asked Rotary clubs to show their commitment to addressing climate change by planting a tree for every member. Join all the San Francisco clubs as we plant up to 500 trees in one day.

Beginning at 8:30 AM, we’ll meet at Balboa High School, 1000 Cayuga Avenue, San Francisco with the San Francisco Department of Public Works Urban Forestry (DPW). The DPW will provide the trees and equipment; Rotary provides the manpower and enthusiasm. Light lunch will be provided for all participants. Be sure to wear light clothing and closed toe shoes, and bring work gloves. Please wear a Rotary shirt if you have one! If not, ask the members at the event how to get a new shirt.

When the planting is done, we will meet at Ocean Ale House, 1314 Ocean Avenue, San Francisco to celebrate.
