Heroes Voices: Music from the Great American Songbook

Club member Rick Harrell created Heroes’ Voices in 2013 to provide veterans with the healing power of music. Heroes’ Voices has served thousands of veterans in Northern California and across the country. 

On Sunday afternoon, August 25, 2024, baritone Rick Harrell and pianist Frank Johnson present a recital featuring a celebration of America's most beloved songs. Highlights include music of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart, Irving Berlin, Lerner & Loewe, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Henry Mancini, Stephen Sondheim, and many more! There will also be guest artists - Victor Floyd and Michael Conley.

Come join us on August 25 at 2 PM in the Kit Stewart Chapel of Calvary Presbyterian Church at Fillmore and Jackson Streets in San Francisco. All are welcome, and donations will be accepted at the door.
