As part of our ongoing DEI Film Festival, we invite you to join us at 3:30 PM on Sunday, July 20 at Rotary Terrace for a screening of The Time That Remains, a powerful and personal film by Palestinian director Elia Suleiman.
The Time That Remains tells the story of a Palestinian family across several generations, starting in 1948 and continuing to modern times. Through dark humor, poetic visuals, and quiet reflection, the film offers a unique perspective on identity, memory, and life under occupation.
This 105-minute movie is not rated.
After the screening, we will gather for a group discussion over a delicious Palestinian dinner catered by Freekeh Restaurant. The preset menu includes vegetarian options.
This event is sponsored by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committees of the Rotary Club of San Francisco and of District 5150.
Tickets are $35 per person, which includes the film, beverages, Palestinian dinner, and the post-film discussion.
This event is sponsored by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committees of the Rotary Club of San Francisco and of District 5150.
