ROTARY LUNCHEON: Brennan Bowen, Chocolate and the Cookie It Made Famous

We will embark on a delectable journey led by Brennan Bowen through the history of the cookie, learning the mouthwatering mysteries behind the iconic chocolate chip cookie from its humble origins to its irresistible rise to global cookie domination! We'll also activate our senses in a chocolate-tasting experience where we'll learn to describe and compare a diverse array of chocolates, gaining an appreciation for its sweet symphony of flavors.

Brennan Bowen is a third-generation baker whose passion for dessert was ignited by his family's baking legacy. During his time living in Mexico and China, he had the privilege of sharing his sweets with friends from diverse backgrounds, infusing his creations with international flavors and inspiration. Join Brennan on this delectable journey as he blends tradition and innovation to create irresistible treats that bring people together.

For in-person attendees: We welcome all attendees! The in-person registration cost for all adults and children is $45 until 11:59 AM on Friday, November 29, 2024. The meeting cost increases to $60 at noon and beyond on November 29, 2024 and includes any walk-ins on Tuesday, December 3.

The Hotel Nikko holds us to the headcount that we submit on Friday at noon, prior to our Tuesday meeting, whether those registered attend or not. In Rotary spirit, thanks for helping us to maintain a good relationship with our host hotel. 

For attendance via Zoom: For those who wish to participate via Zoom, there is a $15 fee to attend.

Parking: If you are driving to the Hotel Nikko for this meeting, please leave your car with the Hotel Nikko valet. Pick up a validation sticker available at our check-in table. The discounted parking is $25 for three hours.
