ROTARY LUNCHEON: D'Arcy Drollinger

In honor of Pride Month, the Rotary Club of San Francisco proudly welcomes San Francisco’s first ever Drag Laureate — D’Arcy Drollinger! D’Arcy was announced as Drag Laureate by the City of San Francisco in May of 2023; her tenure runs for 18 months. This ambassador-type position, which the City says is the first in the U.S., seeks to bring visibility to the LGBTQ community and works with city agencies to address LGBTQ people’s needs.

D’Arcy was selected by City officials due to her record of public service — including Meals on Heels, which she created during COVID to employ out-of-work drag artists to deliver food and performances.

D'Arcy Drollinger is an actor, writer, director, choreographer, producer, entrepreneur, and a native San Franciscan. D’Arcy is the owner and artistic director of OASIS, which employs 200 individuals and was voted San Francisco's best nightclub/cabaret. D’Arcy is the producer, director, and co-star of the long-running Bay Area holiday tradition, The Golden Girls Live.

For in-person attendees: We welcome all attendees! The in-person registration cost for all adults and children is $45 until 11:59 AM on Friday, May 31, 2024. The meeting cost increases to $60 at noon and beyond on May 31, 2024 and includes any walk-ins on Tuesday, June 4.

The Hotel Nikko holds us to the headcount that we submit on Friday at noon, prior to our Tuesday meeting, whether those registered attend or not. In Rotary spirit, thanks for helping us to maintain a good relationship with our host hotel. 

For attendance via Zoom: For those who wish to participate via Zoom, there is a $10 fee to attend.

Parking: If you are driving to the Hotel Nikko for this meeting, please leave your car with the Hotel Nikko valet. Pick up a validation sticker available at our check-in table. The discounted parking is $17.50 for three hours.
