ROTARY LUNCHEON: Gregory Yap and Visiting Singapore

The 2024 Rotary International Convention will be held in Singapore from May 25-29. Today's speaker will share Singapore’s history, economics, culture, and why you should visit especially during the RI Convention.

Gregory Yap CMP is Vice President of Future Tourism Meetings and Leisure Trade-Americas for the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). He is based in San Francisco and has been with the STB for over a decade, honing his tourism career in various roles in the Experience Development and International Group, developing and implementing strategies to foster the growth of business tourism and trade engagement. Gregory also founded a start-up, TAB, to connect business travelers and organizers with unique destination experiences.

Gregory graduated Magna Cum Laude in Hospitality, Meetings and Event Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has also been a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) since 2014.

For in-person attendees: We welcome all attendees! The in-person registration cost for all adults and children is $45 until 11:59 AM on Friday, March 15, 2024. The meeting cost increases to $60 at noon and beyond on March 15, 2024 and includes any walk-ins on Tuesday, March 19. 

The Hotel Nikko holds us to the headcount that we submit on Friday at noon, prior to our Tuesday meeting, whether those registered attend or not. In Rotary spirit, thanks for helping us to maintain a good relationship with our host hotel. 

For attendance via Zoom: For those who wish to participate via Zoom, there is a $10 fee to attend.

Parking: If you are driving to the Hotel Nikko for this meeting, please leave your car with the Hotel Nikko valet. Pick up a validation sticker available at our check-in table. The discounted parking is $17.50 for three hours.
