GLIDE is a nationally recognized center for social justice. Karl Robillard will talk about how the GLIDE Foundation has made a difference in the Tenderloin Community and beyond.
Karl Robillard is GLIDE’s Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer. He has lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years and has been a leading voice in shaping policy, philanthropy, and storytelling for organizations and residents.
Prior to working at the GLIDE Foundation, Karl served as the Head of Social Impact at Twitter. Prior to joining Twitter, he worked with Meals on Wheels and the St. Anthony Foundation. Karl has shaped his career on the belief that diverse groups of people can work together to create positive change and are an unstoppable force for good.
Karl was raised in Ithaca, New York and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the College of Wooster. When not at work, he has a passion for all things outdoors like trail running, cycling, skiing and snow camping.
